We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.About The RoleAs a Capital Project Contract & Commercial EMEA Lead, you will support complex nuclear and infrastructure projects globally. You will focus on change and claim management, which includes prevention, preparation, and resolution. You will ensure the protection of our contractual and financial interests throughout the full project lifecycle.You will report to the Manager - Large Capex Categories and be located at one of our EMEA locations (Madrid, France, Belgium, UK, or Vasteras). This is a full-time hybrid remote/in-office role.Key ResponsibilitiesClaims and Contract Management:Develop a change and claim management strategy for assigned projects from contract award to close-outLead identification, assessment and quantification of claims, variations and changes (cost, schedule)Analyze contractual entitlement, causes and effect (time, cost, productivity)Coordinate claim submissions, defenses and counterclaimsSupport negotiations to achieve fair resolutionCoordinate with Legal and necessary partners on dispute resolution strategies (amical settlement, mediation, arbitration, or litigation)Change & Risk Management:Establish and maintain structured change management processes within project teamsMonitor early warning signals and contractual risks, escalating issuesEnsure compliance with notice requirements, contractual milestones and documentation obligationsContribute to risk register, contingency assessments, and commercial forecastsProject Support & Governance:Be the contact for claims and contractual matters within the projectSupport project reviews by providing visibility on claims status,



exposure and opportunitiesWork with Project Controls for schedule analysis (delay, disruption, acceleration)Report and Performance:Provide regular reporting on claims status, financial exposure and recovery timeframesSupport lessons learned exercises to improve execution and claim preventionContribute to continuous improvement of claims processes, standards and toolsQualificationsDegree in business or engineeringProfessional certifications: Supply Chain, Project Management, RICS, CCM, FIDIC, NEC, and PMI recommended10+ years of procurement project management experience (claims, contracts, commercial management, time and cost impact analysis, and dispute resolution mechanisms)Knowledge of: SAP, ARIBA, E-Auction, project management and planning tools (Primavera 6) recommendedEnglish proficiencyAbility to travel within Europe up to 20%Why Westinghouse?We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
