The appointment will begin on September 1, 2027.The Department of Public Law of IE Law School brings together scholars whose research and teaching span a wide range of fields, including public international law, European Union law, constitutional law, human rights, administrative law and regulation, criminal law and procedure, and tax law.We seek candidates with an original and relevant research agenda and the potential to build a strong record of high-impact publications. Consistent with the school’s integral orientation, we are interested in scholarship that speaks to audiences across jurisdictions and contributes to broader debates about law, institutions, societal challenges, and public policy.We welcome methodological diversity, including comparative, transnational, empirical, socio-legal, economic, political economy and other interdisciplinary approaches,



alongside doctrinal and theoretical work.We welcome applications from candidates across all areas of public law, although subject areas of particular interest include climate, environmental and energy law; international economic and trade law; human rights; and tax law.English is our working language and the primary language of instruction. Most courses are taught from a transnational or comparative perspective.
