Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Finance, you’ll support the Finance department on the financial operations of the hotel while managing hotel assets and ensuring a centralized accounting environment.Reconcile check requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices.Liaise with purchasing departemnt in solving any discrepanciesProcess invoices and ensure approval.Resolve supplier inquiries and provide support in preparing paymentsAssist with month-end closing and ledger entries.Provide support in supplier accounts reconciliation dutiesPrepare reports as required.Ensure compliance with procedures.Provide support for any ad-hoc tasks that may arise in the department.QualificationsWhat we are looking for...You´re studying a bachelor´s/master´s degree in hospitality or a related fieldYou have the possibility to sign an agreement with your school for a period of preferably 6 monthsAdvanced skills in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting softwareAbility to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.Fluent in English.You take ownership of important issues, solve problems, and make effective decisions.You learn quickly and adapt to SLS’s unique culture.You are humble and open to ideas.
