My name is Maria, and I live in Barcelona with my two daughters, aged 17 and 12. They are both independent and responsible. My older daughter no longer needs adult supervision, but occasionally, when I travel, I need a responsible and trustworthy person to stay at home during the evening and overnight, mainly so that there is an adult present for my 12-year-old daughter. No special childcare is required just being there, keeping an eye on things, and being available in case they need anything.
