Citybeat is a startup that helps people decide where to go out, using our app to show the most popular venues and events in the city and where their friends are going in real time.

Launched in Milan and expanded to Turin and Rome, Citybeat has already reached 25,000+ app downloads and built a fast-growing community of 130,000+ followers on Instagram and TikTok.

Now, we're looking to take Citybeat beyond Italy, starting with Barcelona.

Our mission is simple: eliminate FOMO and make decisions about where to go out easier, more social and more real.

Role description

We are looking for a City Launcher for Barcelona, a key person responsible for launching and developing the Citybeat ecosystem in the city.

This is a highly dynamic and entrepreneurial role combining social media management, marketing, business development and event organization, working closely with the founders.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the growth of Citybeat Barcelona’s social media pages (Instagram / TikTok)
- Become the local point of reference for Citybeat in Barcelona
- Work closely with the founders to define the go-to-market strategy and adapt the product to the local market
- Build relationships with venues, event organizers and local communities
- Ideate, launch and manage Citybeat events in Barcelona
- Develop commercial activities and partnerships with local venues
- Identify new growth opportunities





This role is adecuado for someone who wants to be a key part of the growth of a startup and have a real impact on launching the product in a new city. You are the right person if

- You live in Barcelona and know the city’s venues, nightlife and social scene well
- You have content editing skills for social media
- You have a deep understanding of how TikTok and Instagram work
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach — you’re not afraid to make mistakes
- You are a social person and naturally good at building relationships
- You speak fluent English and Spanish
- Knowledge of Spanish and/or Catalan is a plus

Nice to have

- Experience in event organization, marketing or social media management
- Knowledge of editing software (Photoshop, Figma, After Effects, etc.)
- An existing network in the nightlife / hospitality industry in Barcelona

Compensation & contract

- Fixed compensation (€600/month) + performance-based bonuses (up to €1,200/month)
- Potential future access to equity in the company
- Part-time contract (approximately 15–20 hours/week) – Freelance / Internship
