Role Description The Communications Associate is a full-time, hybrid role based in Valencia, with some flexibility for work from home. This role is responsible for planning, drafting, and distributing internal and external communications, including online content, newsletters, and announcements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Strategic Communications skills, with the ability to adapt messages to diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess experience in Writing and creating Press Releases for organizational initiatives and events.
- Candidates should possess Project Management abilities to plan, prioritize,



and execute communication activities on schedule.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with digital communication tools and social media platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, university-based environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or Valencian is an asset.
- Background in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred, as well as interest in consulting and social impact.

Key Responsibilities:

- Web & Blog Management: Keep the news section updated with articles on the club’s activities, initiatives, and ongoing projects.
- Report & Article Writing: Draft analytical posts for LinkedIn and the blog with a report-style focus (e.g., ‘How can Valencia increase its social impact?’ or ‘Key NGOs in Valencia and their work’).
- Newsletter: Write and distribute regular newsletters updating our community on upcoming events and client projects.
- Brand Purpose Supervision: Ensure all written content remains strictly aligned with 180 Degrees Consulting’s values and mission.
