Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud Business Analyst to work directly with client stakeholders throughout a Consumer Goods Cloud implementation.

The role acts as the bridge between business requirements and technical delivery, translating retail execution, trade promotion, and field sales processes into functional designs, configuration specifications, process flows, and user stories for the Salesforce delivery team.

The successful candidate will be comfortable leading client workshops, owning requirements documentation, managing the functional backlog, and maintaining direct relationships with business and IT stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- Lead requirements-gathering workshops with client business and IT stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Translate retail execution, trade promotion management, and field sales processes into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Perform fit-gap analysis against Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud standard capabilities, including Retail Execution, Trade Promotion Management, Visit Management, and Order Management.
- Recommend appropriate configuration or customization approaches based on identified business requirements.
- Own and maintain the functional backlog, collaborating closely with Solution Architects, Developers, and QA teams to support accurate implementation.
- Support UAT planning and execution, including test scenario definition, defect triage, and coordination of client sign-off.
- Act as the primary functional point of contact for the client, managing expectations, status updates, and change requests.
- Produce and maintain business process documentation, requirements traceability matrices, and training materials.
- Support data migration and integration discussions from a business and functional perspective,



including interfaces with ERP and trade promotion systems.
- Contribute to solution design discussions, ensuring recommendations align with consumer goods industry best practices and client objectives.

Requirements

- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant working on Salesforce implementation projects.
- Hands-on functional experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud, including:
- Retail Execution
- Visit Management
- Trade Promotion Management
- Order Management
- Proven client-facing experience, including leading workshops, presenting to stakeholders, and managing business relationships directly.
- Strong requirements elicitation, process mapping, and documentation skills, including BRDs, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, managing backlogs, and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.
- Experience supporting UAT cycles, defect management, and go-live readiness activities.
- Understanding of consumer goods / CPG business processes, including field sales, merchandising, and retail store execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced English level (C1).
- Professional proficiency in Spanish.

Qualifications

Salesforce certifications such as

- Consumer Goods Cloud Accredited Professional
- Salesforce Agentforce Specialist
- Sales Cloud Consultant

Nice to have

- Previous end-to-end implementation experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud or a Vlocity-based Industry Cloud, from discovery through go-live.
- Experience within CPG, FMCG, or retail distribution environments.
- Familiarity with OmniStudio components.
- Experience with mobile field sales applications.
- Familiarity with image recognition or shelf audit tools.
- Previous experience working in a nearshore or delivery-center model supporting multi-market client engagements.

Working conditions

- Preferred location: Barcelona.
- Hybrid working model.
- On-site presence required 2 days per week at the client's offices.
