? Senior Technical Architect – Solution Architecture & Azure ?

? About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Architect with a strong hands-on Solution Architecture background to join a complex international technology environment.

This role is focused on taking end-to-end ownership of solution architecture for real projects , from early assessment and design through implementation and production readiness.

You will create detailed, implementable architectures covering applications, APIs and integrations, data flows, identity, security, Azure infrastructure, deployment and operational dependencies , working closely with development, security, data, infrastructure, DevOps and operations teams.

This is not a purely strategic Enterprise Architecture position. We are looking for someone who stays close to implementation, can make and defend concrete design decisions, and provides development teams with architecture they can actually build.

? What you’ll do

? Own Solution Architecture for assigned projects and major changes, from initial assessment through implementation and production readiness

? Produce current-state, target-state and transition architectures , translating functional requirements and technical constraints into implementable designs

? Define application components, APIs, integrations, data flows, identities, trust boundaries and Azure hosting/deployment models

? Evaluate solution options and document trade-offs, risks, assumptions, technical debt and architectural decisions

? Define measurable non-functional requirements covering availability, resilience, performance, scalability, recoverability, observability and supportability

? Prepare architecture dossiers and materials for Architecture Review Boards / Design Authorities , maintaining architecture decisions and action traceability

? Guide development, integration, testing, release and cutover teams during implementation, reviewing deviations and architecture conformance

? Deliver as-built architecture and handover information , ensuring the implemented solution remains aligned with the approved design

? Must Have

? Typically 8–15 years of experience across Solution Architecture, Application Architecture or Senior Software Engineering

? At least 5 years owning end-to-end solution designs used for implementation

? Strong experience designing solutions across application, integration, data,



security, cloud/infrastructure and operations

? Strong Azure Solution Architecture experience

? Knowledge of Azure identity and access concepts including Entra ID, service principals, managed identities, RBAC and Key Vault

? Strong understanding of APIs, service-oriented architectures and event-driven integration patterns

? Solid knowledge of Security by Design , including authentication, authorisation, secrets, encryption, network segmentation, logging and vulnerability/threat considerations

? Good understanding of DevOps and SDLC , including Git, CI/CD, environment strategy, infrastructure/configuration as code, testing and release readiness

? Experience defining and validating non-functional requirements and production-readiness criteria

? Evidence of solution designs that have been approved, implemented and transitioned into production

? Professional English

✨ Nice to Have

? Experience in insurance, financial services or another regulated environment

? Experience preparing and defending architecture dossiers before a Design Authority or Architecture Review Board

? Experience integrating cloud, SaaS and on-premise systems in multi-team or multi-vendor environments

? Application modernisation and transition architecture experience

? Azure Solution Architect or equivalent certification

? TOGAF, ArchiMate, iSAQB or comparable architecture certification

? Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Databricks, Power Platform or integration platforms

? Knowledge of FinOps, operational resilience, technology risk or regulated cloud

? French language skills

We are looking for an architect who combines broad end-to-end judgement with enough technical depth to stay close to delivery.

You should be comfortable challenging designs constructively, facilitating technical decisions across different disciplines and translating architecture into concrete guidance for implementation teams.

A pragmatic delivery mindset is essential,



together with clear management of risks, assumptions, dependencies and open decisions .
