NoOffer DescriptionWe are offering a postdoc position within the framework of a European Innovation Council project (EIC-Pathfinder Open HeartVision).The position is offered at the Dynamic Optical Systems Lab at Universitat de Barcelona-The project aims to develop an original minimally invasive microscope to characterize cellular morphology and health of engineered heart tissue. The new system, called In-vivo Scope, will synergistically combine ultrasound with optical endoscopy.The candidate's main task will be to work on the development of the In-vivo Scope system,



including assembly of the optical components, fabrication of acoustic holograms, and optical characterization. Some modeling of light-ultrasound interactions is expected.
