Senior Quality Manager - New Production Introduction (NPI) Focus
Quality Planning & Strategy : Lead the design and deployment of Quality Management Systems (QMS) processes and tools to ensure NPI objectives and customer requirements are met.
Manage launch readiness assessments, Monthly Operations Reviews, and Customer Satisfaction Surveys to ensure operational excellence at the HealthTech sites.
Performance Monitoring : Analyze data from customer scorecards, regulatory audits, and operational performance to identify gaps and communicate action plans to stakeholders.
Global QMS process ownership : Process Deployment : Document and deploy global quality processes (Audit Compliance, Customer Feedback) in alignment with strategic corporate initiatives.
Training & Capability Building : Educate sites on global procedures to build independent, high-functioning quality teams capable of maintaining long-term quality initiatives.
Quality Frameworks : Expert-level knowledge of ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820 (QMSR) and ANSI/ISO/ESD standards.
NPI Quality Planning : Deep proficiency in defining critical quality business processes, tools, and system applications required to meet site-level and customer-specific quality objectives.
Advanced Quality Tools : Mastery of core quality methodologies, including FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), 8D Methodology, Change Control Board (CCB) protocols, and Manufacturing Quality Standards (MQS).
Performance Analytics : Ability to assess quality performance data to establish metrics, targets, and improvement strategies (e.g., Monthly Operations Reviews, Quality Excursion Reporting).
15+ years of progressive experience in Quality Management, with a proven track record in NPI , manufacturing scale-up, and general QMS deployment.
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Quality Management or a related technical field.

ATP is designed to integrate directly into our manufacturing sites, partner across teams (GME, safety, etc.) and drive innovation from initial idea to full implementation.
ATP is led by Managing Director Yung Fung, reporting to Ford Chief Manufacturing Officer Bryce Currie. This structure includes four vertical business units - focused on specific technology stacks - and four horizontals - shared services designed to ensure scale, deployment, and operational consistency.
As part of the AITP organisation, the Sight Vertical is responsible for building an end-to- end-to- business around AI/ML anomaly detection products, operating across two product families: image-based detection (Vision) and parametric data-based detection (Sense). Energy - is Ford's scalable platform for Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), process quality assurance, and zero-downtime, zero-defect manufacturing.
You will work closely with Sense Product Managers, product designers, and the Reach & Launch team, and partner with ATP Core, cybersecurity, data and infrastructure teams across Ford. Engineering effort per plant deployment falls measurably; deployment cycle time compresses.
Sense engineering practices are recognised as a reference standard within the Sight Vertical and ATP.
Lead, develop and grow the Sense Engineering Team - setting clear role, performance and development expectations for every engineer.
Run regular one-to-ones, coaching, feedback and performance reviews, and build individual development and career plans.
Recruit, onboard and retain engineering talent for approved positions, and identify capability and succession gaps before they become delivery risks.
Build an inclusive culture of quality, learning, collaboration and production ownership, and actively monitor workload and burnout risk.
Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, secure, observable and maintainable across cloud, edge and plant environments.
Capacity and the Delivery System
Establish proportionate quality standards and Definitions of Done, with effective testing, code review, CI/CD and release control.
Establish incident management and learning-review practices, and prioritise elimination of recurring incidents.
Deployment Industrialisation and Technical MRL Evidence
Own technical deployment and commissioning readiness, reducing bespoke plant engineering through automation, reusable patterns and standards.
