About OriGen. AI
OriGen. AI is a technology company transforming how complex engineering problems are solved through physics-informed artificial intelligence.
Our flagship platform, PROTEUSTM, combines advanced AI, physics-based modeling, and optimization to accelerate computationally intensive engineering workflows. In subsurface applications, PROTEUS enables reservoir simulation, assisted history matching, field development optimization, and related workflows at a fraction of the computational cost of traditional approaches.
We work with leading energy companies around the world, applying our technology to real-world, large-scale reservoir challenges.
The Role
OriGen. AI is looking for a Reservoir Engineer to join our technical team and support our growing portfolio of international projects.
The adecuado candidate will have a strong foundation in reservoir engineering, with solid hands-on experience in reservoir modeling, numerical simulation, and history matching.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills who is comfortable working with complex reservoir models and data and is interested in applying advanced computational and AI-based technologies to reservoir engineering problems.
This is a hands-on technical and client-facing role. You will work closely with OriGen. AI's reservoir engineering, AI, and software teams, as well as with reservoir engineers and other technical specialists from our customers.
The position is based in Spain and will involve working across international projects and teams.
What You Will Do
- Work on reservoir engineering projects involving reservoir simulation, history matching, uncertainty analysis, and field development optimization.
- Build, review, analyze, and quality-check reservoir simulation models and associated production and subsurface data.
- Perform and support history matching studies, including the identification and evaluation of geological and dynamic uncertainties.
- Work with commercial reservoir simulat
