As part of a growing international organisation, we combine the agility of a local business with the support, investment and opportunities that come from being part of a global group.We're now looking for a Financial Controller to play a key role in the next phase of our growth and development.About the RoleThis is not a traditional reporting-focused Financial Controller position.We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates, partnering with operational leaders and using financial information to influence decisions and improve performance.Working closely with the leadership team, you will help drive better commercial and operational outcomes through meaningful analysis, insight and challenge. You will be visible across the business, working with manufacturing, operations and functional teams to understand the drivers behind financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond producing reports and become a genuine business partner.This role is not only about reporting results. It is about influencing them.Role ResponsibilitiesLead and continuously improve budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processesAnalyse financial performance,



identify key business trends and provide actionable recommendationsSupport monthly management reporting and year-end activitiesPartner with operational and manufacturing teams to understand business drivers and improve performanceAnalyse manufacturing costs, margins and profitability, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and returnChallenge assumptions and support decision-making through robust financial insightDrive continuous improvement initiatives, including reporting enhancements, automation and process improvementsSupport internal and external audit activitiesCollaborate with colleagues across the wider Zotefoams Group on international projects and best practice initiativesBuild strong relationships across the business and act as a trusted finance partner to operational leadersWhat you'll needWe are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including Financial Controlling, Manufacturing Finance, Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting, Audit or Operations Finance.You’ll likely bringDegree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related disciplineExperience in a Financial Controller, Business Controller, Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant or similar roleStrong understanding of financial and management accounting principlesExperience of budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysisExperience working within a manufacturing,
