Mission: Responsible for supporting the design, implementation, testing, deployment and monitoring of credit decision strategies within the Decision Engine, ensuring that business and credit requirements are correctly translated into robust, efficient and traceable decision rules.The role acts as a bridge between Credit Risk, Business, IT and external vendors, combining strong knowledge of decision systems with a solid understanding of Consumer Finance products, credit acceptance processes and customer journeys .In addition, the position contributes to the management and delivery of projects impacting the credit decision process, coordinating activities across different stakeholders, identifying dependencies and risks, and ensuring that implementations are delivered according to agreed scope, quality and timelines.The analyst is expected to understand not only how a strategy is implemented in the Decision Engine, but also its business rationale, its impact on the credit decision process and its implications for customer experience and portfolio performance .Main Functions and Tasks:1. Decision Engine & Acceptance StrategiesTranslate Credit Risk and Business requirements into functional specifications and decision logic suitable for implementation in the Decision Engine. Identify opportunities for simplification, automation and optimization. Ensure consistency between functional requirements and implementation. Perform functional, regression and end-to-end testing of new strategies and releases. Define test scenarios. Maintain appropriate documentation and traceability of changes. Support incident analysis, root-cause identification and resolution of issues affecting the credit decision process. Contribute to the continuous improvement, standardization and industrialization of Decision Engine practices.2. Consumer Finance Business KnowledgeUnderstand credit lifecycle, particularly origination, eligibility, affordability, creditworthiness assessment, decisioning and contract activation.



Understand interactions between the Decision Engine and other components involved in the decision process, including credit bureaus, fraud prevention solutions, scoring models, affordability assessments, external data providers and internal information systems.3. Project & Change ManagementParticipate in and, where appropriate, coordinate projects impacting credit decision systems and acceptance processes.Translate business needs into clearly structured requirements, deliverables and implementation plans.Assess the impact of new projects on the existing decision architecture, strategies, processes and interfaces.4. Governance & Stakeholder ManagementSupport prioritization of the Decision Engine backlog according to business needs, regulatory constraints, risk priorities and available capacity. Promote effective collaboration between technical and business teams.Requirements:Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, etc.Ideally 3-5+ years of experience in Decision Engines, credit decision systems, credit risk, Consumer Finance or related areas.Experience implementing or maintaining credit acceptance strategies and business rules in a bank or financial institution.Experience working in projects involving several business and technical stakeholders.Experience with decision engine platforms would be highly valuable.Experience related to credit origination and acceptance processes is strongly preferredSkills Profile:Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities .Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured decision logic .Knowledge of rule-based decision systems and decision flows.Knowledge of credit scoring and risk decisioning concepts .Programming or scripting capabilities and ability to work with structured data.Strong testing capabilities, including functional, regression and E2E testing.Ability to analyze incidents and perform structured root-cause analysis.Knowledge of APIs, web services and system integrations would be valuable#J-18808-Ljbffr
