A Piece of Pie is a general strategy consultancy rooted in anthropology and the human sciences. We help life sciences and healthcare companies turn a deeper understanding of people into better business decisions.

We are looking for a Manager who understands the gap between what people say and what they actually do, and can translate that understanding into strategy. Someone who explores how lived experience, culture, beliefs and practical constraints shape decisions, and connects those insights with clients’ business challenges.

This is a hands-on role combining strategic work, project leadership, client growth and team development.

What you will do

- Lead projects across human insights, brand positioning, launch and adoption strategy.
- Shape research and lead interpretation, identifying the patterns, tensions and drivers behind behaviour.
- Turn complex evidence into clear strategic recommendations and compelling client narratives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, taking ownership of teams, timelines, budgets and quality.
- Build trusted senior client relationships, identify opportunities and develop and win proposals.
- Coach consultants and support their development.

What you will bring

- Strong consulting experience in human insights, strategy, innovation or a related field.




- Proven ability to turn contextual understanding of people into business strategy.
- Strong qualitative research and sensemaking skills, ideally including ethnographic approaches.
- Experience applying anthropology, sociology, psychology or behavioural science to business challenges.
- Proven ability to lead multiple consulting projects simultaneously, managing teams, client relationships, timelines and budgets.
- Commercial judgement and a track record of growing client relationships and winning work.
- Experience in life sciences or healthcare, or a strong motivation and ability to apply your expertise to this sector.
- Confidence integrating qualitative insights with quantitative, scientific and market evidence.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with fluency in English. International experience is important;

US healthcare experience is a plus.
