Role Mission
The Experienced Finance Controller – Iberia acts as a key strategic finance business partner to the Iberia organization, ensuring strong financial steering, transparency and performance discipline across the full P&L.;
The role owns financial planning, forecasting and performance follow-up, partnering closely with Commercial, Retail, Marketing and HR to support business decisions and challenge performance. By translating financial insights into actionable recommendations, the Experienced Finance Controller contributes to sustainable growth, margin protection, disciplined investment and cost management.
Key Areas of Responsibility Financial Planning & Performance Management (FP&A;)
- Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long-range planning processes.
- Provide structured analytical insights across the full P&L;, including Net Revenue, Gross Profit, A&P; and Fixed Costs.
- Own monthly performance reviews and prepare clear variance analyses versus budget, forecast and prior year.
- Identify financial trends, risks and opportunities and proactively support mitigation or acceleration plans.
- Partner with functional cost owners to ensure transparency, financial discipline and forward-looking cost steering.
Business Partnering & Strategic Support
- Act as a key finance partner to Commercial, Retail, Marketing and HR teams, constructively challenging business assumptions and supporting decision-making.
- Support strategic decisions on pricing, promotions, commercial investments and resource allocation.
- Provide financial evaluation of go-to-market initiatives, brand investments and other key business opportunities.
- Translate complex financial information into clear insights and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Balance growth opportunities with profitability, cash discipline and appropriate financial governance.
Financial Control & Governance
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end close in line with corporate accounting standards and IFRS.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with statutory, tax and corporate requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.
- Act as a key finance interface with regional and integral finance teams and shared service centers.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, accuracy and financial reporting.
Process Improvement
- Drive finance process standardization and continuous improvement across the Iberia organization.
- Lead automation, reporting improvements and digital finance initiatives to increase efficiency and analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate with shared service centers to optimize transactional finance flows and service quality.
Requirements Experience & Education
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in FP&A;, Commercial Finance, Business Controlling or similar finance roles.
- Proven experience acting as a finance business partner to senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of full P&L; dynamics, including revenue, gross margin, A&P; and fixed cost structures.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning within a multi-market or matrix organization.
- Experience collaborating with shared service centers and regional/global finance teams.
- Experience in FMCG, beauty, retail or other brand-driven environments is a strong advantage.

- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial topics for non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrix and cross-functional environment.

- Strong ownership mentality, sound business judgment and high integrity.
- Interest in digitalization, automation and the use of new technologies in Finance.
Languages
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
