About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Engagement Manager to join our Public Administration business and support the growth of our engineering services portfolio within public sector organizations.
This role is designed for high-potential professionals who combine a solid technical background with strong business acumen and a passion for client engagement. The selected candidate will join our Emerging Business Leader Development Program , gaining hands‑on experience in sales, account management, and strategic business development while working closely with senior leaders and key public sector clients.
The Associate Engagement Manager will play a key role in identifying business opportunities, developing client relationships, and promoting innovative engineering and consulting solutions for government agencies and public institutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
An engineer with around 3 years of experience who is looking to transition into a client‑facing business role, combining technical expertise with commercial development and long‑term leadership opportunities within the Public Administration sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of business growth strategies within the Public Administration sector.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities related to engineering and technical services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with public sector stakeholders and decision‑makers.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop compelling value propositions and commercial offers.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor market trends, public procurement opportunities, and industry developments.
- Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
- Contribute to sales planning, pipeline management, and revenue growth objectives.
- Participate actively in the Business Leader Development Program, preparing for future leadership responsibilities.
Requirements Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Telecommunications, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or similar).
- MBA or postgraduate studies in Business Management will be considered a strong asset.
Experience
- Approximately 3 years of professional experience in:
- Technical engineering roles, and/or
- Business development, sales, account management, or consulting environments.
- Previous exposure to Public Administration clients is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong commercial mindset and interest in business development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Proactive attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
Languages
- Fluent Spanish.
- High level of English (minimum C1 preferred).
