As a Forward Deployed Engineer at RELEX Merchandising, you will own end-to-end technical delivery for customer deployments, from discovery to go-live. You’ll build production models and code that run in live environments, validating value with real data and presenting outcomes to both operators and executives. You will engage closely with European retailers, challenging requirements and shaping the roadmap through field insights. This role combines hands-on engineering with customer-facing impact in a fast-growing, AI-enabled platform.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own technical delivery from discovery through go-live, including configuration, extensions, integrations, and quality control
• Instrument deployments and measure outcomes against baselines to prove value to users and executives
• Manage the technical customer relationship, deeply learning operations to challenge requirements and address new problems
• Capture field gaps and use cases to prototype solutions that can graduate to the RELEX roadmap
• Build customer self-sufficiency via knowledge transfer and clean handovers
• Grow the account by identifying adjacent use cases, new sites,



and leveraging collaborations with pre-sales and account teams
• Support commercial activity with feasibility assessments, proofs of concept and technical demos
Responsabilidades
• Proven experience designing and building software across the full stack in production
• Strong understanding of system design, observability, and hypothesis-driven development
• Experience building integrations for downstream or customer-facing systems
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern application stacks
• Strong business acumen with ability to translate technical work into measurable financial impact
• Comfortable xghoner managing ambiguity and owning outcomes
• Willingness to travel and to work on-site at customer locations
• Comfortable using AI in daily work and promoting AI tool adoption
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Nice to have: exposure to retail, merchandising, or pricing and promotions
• Fast learner of new domains and codebases
