Offer Description
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our project on tuning nanoparticle interfaces for predictable target recognition. The job is to understand how nanoparticle physicochemical properties and the nanoscale organization of targeting antibodies determine molecular recognition. The project combines nanomaterial engineering, quantitative biophysics and single-molecule super-resolution microscopy to establish quantitative structure-affinity relationships for targeted nanomedicines. You will focus on the experimental development and quantitative characterization of antibody-functionalized nanoparticles, using SPR, DNA-PAINT and qPAINT to investigate how nanoparticle design and antibody nano-organization regulate target recognition. You will work with us (Nanomedicine lab at the UPF-MELIS) and in collaboration with Dr. Sílvia Pujals at IQAC-CSIC,
combining expertise in nanomedicine and functional nanomaterials with advanced expertise in DNA-PAINT, qPAINT and single-molecule localization microscopy.
