In the Control and Habit Lab (FPU AEI-funded programme) we are looking for a motivated PhD candidate to join our lab
The project
The PhD will explore the behavioural, neural and computational mechanisms underlying cognitive control and habits, combining behavioural experiments, neuroimaging and causal neuromodulation (TMS, ultrasound, and related approaches). We will investigate the role of the basal ganglia and related brain systems in the adaptive control of habitual behaviour, as well as how control and habitual behaviour are disrupted in disease.
The position
- Candidates with an excellent academic record (Bachelor’s average around 9/10)
- B ackground in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields, with a strong interest in cognitive neuroscience and human behaviour.
