What you will do. A glimpse in your role:

As a Sales Representative (Payments), you will be responsible for generating new business and supporting existing clients by promoting Shift4's merchant servicing products, hardware, software, and professional services. Acting as the frontline sales representative within your assigned territory, you will drive revenue growth through prospecting, client engagement, sales conversion, and relationship management while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Your responsibilities include:

- Prospecting and generating new business opportunities through phone outreach, networking, referrals, and territory-based sales activities.
- Setting appointments with merchants, presenting Shift4’s Payment Terminal and services, and closing new business opportunities.
- Managing the full sales cycle, signing new logos, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Supporting existing clients with additional hardware, software, and professional service solutions while identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Building strong merchant relationships by understanding business needs, resolving issues, and clearly communicating the value of Shift4 solutions.
- Analysing merchant acquiring statements and positioning Shift4’s end-to-end service offering accordingly.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records,



managing sales pipelines, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Continuously developing product knowledge and staying informed about industry trends and market developments.

Key competencies to empower your journey. You'll drive towards success if you have:

- Proven experience in door-to-door, outside sales, or field sales, preferably within payments, financial services, or technology solutions.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and maintaining accurate CRM records.
- Ability to qualify sales opportunities and identify cross-sell and upsell potential.
- Understanding of merchant acquiring statements and payment solutions.
- Computer and smartphone proficiency.
- Fluent Spanish language skills; English is a strong advantage. Additional European language skills are considered a plus.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- High school diploma or equivalent as a minimum qualification.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Ability to independently prospect, cold call, and close business opportunities.
