We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team, with a broad and transversal view of the finance function.
The role is primarily focused on financial accounting, month-end closing, account analysis and financial reporting, while also contributing to controlling, internal controls, process improvement and automation.
We are looking for someone who is analytical, autonomous and hands-on, with strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to manage responsibilities end-to-end, identify issues and opportunities for improvement, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
Financial Accounting
Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy, consistency and completeness of financial information.
Prepare and support financial reporting and analysis.




Ensure accounting transactions and balances are properly recorded and supported.
Collaborate with Accounting and other Finance teams on accounting-related matters.
Support the resolution of accounting issues and ensure appropriate follow-up.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
Controlling & Financial Analysis
Monitor financial performance and analyse deviations versus budget, forecast and previous periods.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
Work closely with different stakeholders across the business to understand financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Audit & Internal Controls
Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring the timely preparation of requested information and documentation.
Review existing accounting processes and controls and identify opportunities for improvement.
Contribute to strengthening the reliability, traceability and quality of financial information.
Ensure appropriate documentation and supporting evidence for accounting and financial processes.
Identify opportunities to simplify,



standardise and automate accounting and financial processes.
Leverage digital tools and systems to improve accounting processes, reporting and data quality.
Promote continuous improvement within Finance.
Take ownership of assigned accounting processes and responsibilities from end to end.
Work proactively with Finance and business stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.
Act as a reliable point of contact for accounting and financial reporting matters within the assigned areas.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
Several years of experience in financial accounting, general accounting, financial reporting or a similar Finance role.
Strong technical understanding of financial accounting and financial statements.
Solid experience with month-end and year-end closing, account reconciliations and account analysis.
Experience with controlling, variance analysis and KPI reporting.
Experience working with internal and/or external audits and financial controls.
Ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and across different Finance areas.
Good command of English.
