The Education Coordinator is responsible for putting in place the educational aspect of Sunseed Desert Technology for co-learning residents and staff. This position involves close collaboration within the Office Team and all other Coordinators to ensure that Sunseed’s development as an educational centre of experiential/informal learning, through the delivery of successful educational experiences, both internally and externally, is met. You are also in charge of managing the internships and the ESC programme. degrowth and environmental justice including raising awareness about our surrounding challengesArchiving educational materials, organising and making visible the existing archives (analog and online) and designing alternative archiving methodsOrganise educational activities such as courses, workshops, open days, external visits, school visits, group visits, guided tours, seminarsResearching educational strategies, activities and programmesRepresent Sunseed in public events, such as talks and conferencesDevelop and oversee a working mentoring system for all members of SunseedEncourage the development of monitoring and evaluation of activities and learning processesEncourage the participation of staff members in courses and seminars for their further skill developmentMaintaining and improving informational signs around the projectConducting tours and giving information to visitorsOrganising activities for co-learning residents within the education departmentMaintaining files of important contact
