Skills required for the position:

- Experience with a broad range of producers and established brands is preferred. An Old World wine network is an advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of Old World wine regions and varietals, with strong tasting skills.
- WSET Level 3 or higher is required, with WSET Level 4 preferred. Other certifications relevant to the wine industry are also valued.
- Business-minded, with the ability to assess wines across price points based on quality, value, volume, and commercial relevance.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a humble and diplomatic approach.
- Autonomous, organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential.
- Fluent English is essential; French is highly valued, and Spanish is a plus.
- Willingness to be based in Barcelona and to travel regularly, particularly during the February-to April trade-show season.
