Experteer Overview
As a Collections Specialist at PPG, you will drive timely payments and minimize bad debt by engaging with customers and resolving delinquencies. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand root causes and strengthen internal processes. Your multilingual skills will support interactions with a diverse customer base, while you build strong relationships with internal and external partners. This role offers the chance to shape collections strategies in a globally focused, collaborative environment.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Review open accounts for collection efforts
• Conduct collection calls to recover outstanding receivables
• Send mail correspondences to encourage payment of overdue balances
• Negotiate customer disputes and document root causes
• Develop relationships with internal and external customers
• Maintain accurate collection files
• Identify issues causing delinquency and discuss with the Credit Manager
• Review and monitor assigned accounts and collection reports
• Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements




• Participate in process improvement projects and support management directives

Responsabilidades
• Native in French, fluent English, good Spanish
• Effective business writing and professional communication
• 1–2 years in collections with experience with a large customer base (preferred)
• Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience is a plus
• Detail oriented
• Knowledge of bank products/payment methods including Letters of Credit, bank guarantees, direct debits, credit cards, Bill of Exchange, Drafts, RIBA, Checks
• Assertive and able to negotiate with sales reps and interface with senior management
• Self-starter, able to work independently
