Our brand-new factory in Madrid is suited tointegrate satellites and constellations .We are looking for aTelecommunications Network Engineer with the mission of acting as the key expert inspace-based telecommunication networkswithin the company,leadingthedefinitionandimplementationofsatellite network solutionsacross various projects, including a satellite constellation.Tasks to be performed:Satellite Network Design & Implementation :Developandconfiguresatellite communication networks ( architecture ,topologyanddefinition ) and management ( control ).Sizingoftelecommunication channelsfor a whole network.Telecommunications Network protocols expert. Understanding of satellite communication protocols ( DVB-S2, DVB-RCS, TDMA, SCPC ,…).Link Budget Analysis & Optimization : Perform link budget calculations to optimize signal quality, bandwidth efficiency,



and power allocationGround Station equipment : Knowledge in satellite ground station equipment, including modems, antennas, RF systems, and baseband units.Network Security & Compliance : Implement encryption, authentication, and regulatory standards (e.G., ITU, FCC) to ensure secure satellite communications.Traffic Management & QoS : Monitor and manage satellite bandwidth allocation, implementing QoS policies to optimize performance.Required skills, experience and candidate profile:Degreein Telecommunications Engineer, or similar engineering brand.Master´s Degreeis a plus,preferred specialisation inTelecom systemsandnetworks, with focus onSatellite Communications .Minimumexperienceof5 yearsin asimilar experiencewithsatellite terminals, antennas, and RF subsystems.Experienceinnetwork simulations.Use of modelling languages: UML, SysML,…Hand-on experienceinimplementingandconfiguring satcom networks.Knowledgeofswitchingandcore-network protocolKnowledgeofsatellite operationsandprotocols .Knowledgeofsatellite link budgetingandpropagation models .KnowledgeinTelecommunicationregulatory compliance&standards.The; position islocated inour Headquarters ofTorrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).The candidate must be eligible to work in the EU and must be able to travel to the US.We're looking forcurious, creative, tenaciousandcollaborative people, eager to do things and unafraid to tackle challenges in order to contribute to improving the society in wich we live.Think Big, Do the Job & Enjoy LifeAt ARQUIMEA, we value diversity and inclusion.
