Experteer Overview
In this Asset Manager role, you will lead asset management activities for Northland's Spanish operations, aligning performance, contracts, and regulatory obligations with business goals. You will coordinate across technical, commercial, and strategic functions to drive reliable operations and informed decision-making for senior management. You’ll manage a team focused on performance, contracts, and risk, and continuously improve processes, reporting, and stakeholder communications. This position is based in Madrid with regular site visits and cross-functional collaboration as the business scales in the energy transition.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Own Asset Management activities for the Spanish assets in operation, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Coordinate across technical, commercial, and strategic functions to monitor operations metrics and manage risks/opportunities
• Provide insights and recommendations to Senior Management for decision making
• Lead and support a team covering Performance Management, Contract and Claims Management, and Risk Management
• Maintain and improve Asset Management processes, systems, training materials, and reporting
• Manage Asset Management-related reporting to shareholders, lenders, authorities, and other stakeholders
• Ensure alignment between internal stakeholders and Ou0026M contractors on priorities and operational requirements
• Embed Asset Management requirements in processes, governance,
and continuous improvement during operation
• Oversee contractor and stakeholder activities for compliance with contractual/regulatory frameworks (PPA, SMAs, warranty, claims) and coordinate with Site Managers on renewals
• Monitor, analyze, and report technical and commercial site performance to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Support planning, budgeting, and strategic project development with Asset Management insights and data
• Lead Risk and Opportunity Management, including risk mitigation and budgeting input
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and new development opportunities
• Lead upgrades to meet regulatory market requirements and optimize asset performance throughout lifecycle
• Prepare and align Asset Management reports for internal and external audiences (board, lenders, authorities)
• Be based in Madrid office with site visits as required
Responsabilidades
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or Business Administration
• Significant experience in a similar role managing power generation assets
• Project management experience
• Team leadership experience
• Fluency in Spanish and English
