IT Communications and Network PM The role will be responsible for supervising and coordinating communications services provided by external vendors and telecommunications carriers, leading technology projects, and managing the budget of the area. The position will act as the liaison between functional teams, service providers, telecommunications carriers, security teams, and technical teams, ensuring service quality, SLA compliance, technological evolution of the communications landscape, and the successful execution of strategic projects. This is not intended to be a hands-on operational administration role, although a strong technical understanding of enterprise networking, telecommunications, connectivity, unified communications, and network security environments is required.
Roles:
IT Service Management: Supervise and coordinate enterprise communications services delivered by external providers, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, Internet connectivity, remote access, voice, and unified communications. Ensure service quality, operational stability, network availability, and compliance with agreed SLAs and KPIs. Act as the main coordination point for critical incidents, escalations, planned maintenance, capacity issues, and service improvements, ensuring business continuity and alignment with company expectations. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with telecommunications carriers, network technology partners, and outsourcing providers, ensuring proper service delivery, contractual compliance, and continuous improvement. Coordinate operational and strategic follow-up meetings, evaluate vendor performance, and support supplier selection, contract renewals, connectivity sourcing, and service optimization initiatives. Project Leadership: Lead communications, connectivity, and network transformation projects from planning to execution, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. Coordinate internal stakeholders, telecom carriers, and external technology partners
manage dependencies, risks,
and priorities and ensure the successful transition of projects into operational support. Budget
Financial Management: Prepare, monitor, and control the communications budget, including operational expenses, telecom services, maintenance and support contracts, circuits, subscriptions, and project-related costs. Identify opportunities for consolidation, optimization, and cost efficiency while supporting financial planning and investment decisions. Governance
Technology Strategy: Define and evolve the companys enterprise communications and connectivity strategy, supporting network modernization, standardization, cloud connectivity, cybersecurity, resilience, and business continuity initiatives. Ensure that services and projects comply with corporate policies, technical standards, architecture principles, and governance frameworks. Communications
Network Security: Ensure the security and compliance of enterprise communications environments by promoting and enforcing cybersecurity best practices, corporate policies, and security standards. Coordinate with internal security teams and external providers to identify and mitigate network risks, support remediation initiatives, ensure appropriate segmentation, secure remote access, traffic protection, and controlled connectivity, and contribute to maintaining a secure and resilient communications landscape.

Professional experience At least 5 years of experience in a similar position. Extensive experience in Infrastructure and Cloud service management. Experience in on-premises to cloud migrations. Extensive experience coordinating external IT service providers. Experience leading infrastructure or cloud-related projects. Experience managing budgets and operational costs. Experience in regulated environments and Quality assurance methodologies (nice to have). Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of enterprise communications environments, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, Internet connectivity, VPN and remote access, DNS/DHCP/IP addressing, network monitoring, voice, unified communications, cloud connectivity, network security, and managed network services.
