Experteer Overview

As a Collections Specialist at PPG, you will drive timely payments and minimize bad debt by engaging with customers and resolving delinquencies. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand root causes and strengthen internal processes.

Your multilingual skills will support interactions with a diverse customer base, while you build strong relationships with internal and external partners. This role offers the chance to shape collections strategies in a globally focused, collaborative environment.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Review open accounts for collection efforts
- Conduct collection calls to recover outstanding receivables
- Send mail correspondences to encourage payment of overdue balances
- Negotiate customer disputes and document root causes
- Develop relationships with internal and external customers
- Maintain accurate collection files
- Identify issues causing delinquency and discuss with the Credit Manager
- Review and monitor assigned accounts and collection reports




- Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements
- Participate in process improvement projects and support management directives

Responsabilidades

- Native in French, fluent English, good Spanish
- Effective business writing and professional communication
- 1–2 years in collections with experience with a large customer base (preferred)
- Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience is a plus
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of bank products/payment methods including Letters of Credit, bank guarantees, direct debits, credit cards, Bill of Exchange, Drafts, RIBA, Checks
- Assertive and able to negotiate with sales reps and interface with senior management
- Self-starter, able to work independently
