Experteer Overview In questa role you support midstream and downstream procurement activities to secure timely equipment and materials at optimal total cost.
You will work with the Category team to standardize processes, drive supplier collaboration, and implement procurement best practices.
The role includes spend and market analysis, contract planning, and cross-functional support to enable efficient sourcing and cost improvements.
You will engage with internal clients and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and compliance, contributing to Chevron’s procurement excellence.
Compensaciones / Beneficios• Execute RPX (request proposal/quotation/information)
for materials• Issue purchase orders per client requirements• Manage stock requests to prevent stockouts• Develop negotiation strategies to realize cost savings• Ensure timely material delivery and track PO performance (OTD)• Coordinate inspections when needed• Develop blanket purchase agreements with key contractors• Support annual Category Contracting Plan and cost improvement targets• Monitor and report cost savings and procurement performance• Maintain stakeholder communications through regular meetings and reports• Support policy standardization and technology improvements for procurement• Provide compliance-related supplier information and assist audits• Leverage productivity tools (MS Teams, Power Apps, Power BI) for efficiency
Responsabilidades• Engineering or related field degree• Proficient in English (written and spoken)• Strong communication and teamwork skills• Experience with any SCM ERP system• Capacity to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
