Experteer Overview In this role, you serve as the regional technical expert for automation and process control across Magnera’s EMEIA sites, bridging OT and IT to improve stability, efficiency, asset performance, and data-driven decisions.

You drive the digital manufacturing roadmap, including Industrial IoT and Ignition platforms, and lead initiatives that enhance manufacturing analytics and visualization.

You work with cross-functional teams to deploy standard architectures and support capital projects, start-ups, and commissioning with a focus on scalable, secure automation solutions.

This position offers impact at scale within a diversified materials business and a culture that values collaboration and a (Compensaciones / Incentivos• Provide technical leadership for process control and automation across EMEIA sites• Support PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and industrial communication systems• Troubleshoot complex control-system issues and standardize architectures• Lead process optimization and start-up/commissioning for new equipment and projects• Develop and deploy IT/OT connectivity standards and real-time data collection and dashboards• Collaborate on OT/IT integration with SAP and analytics apps• Maintain automation documentation, backups,



and lifecycle management• Support cybersecurity practices and risk mitigation in OT environments• Contribute to capital projects with automation scope, specs, and vendor evaluation• Advance robotics, machine vision, and AI-enabled monitoring initiatives• Foster regional automation/community of practice

Responsabilidades• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field• 5+ years in industrial automation or process control• Experience with multi-site manufacturing environments and cross-functional collaboration• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus• Experience with PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, Schneider, Omron or equivalent) and SCADA/HMI• Knowledge of industrial networking and protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP)• Experience with Ignition platform is highly desirable• Data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI or equivalent); SQL experience• Python or automation scripting; machine vision/robotics and AI-enabled monitoring are a plus• Willingness to travel 30-50%Requisitos principales•
