CBRE's Investment Accounting & Reporting (IA&R;) team is looking for a Controller to join our team in Madrid, and to support the financial management and reporting of real estate investment structures across a diverse portfolio of clients.Working closely with Senior Controllers and Finance teams, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for real estate entities and investment vehicles.This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to develop their career within a leading integral real estate services organisation and gain exposure to institutional real estate investments.What You'll Do- Support the financial control and reporting of real estate SPVs and property entities.- Coordinate information between property managers, asset managers, external accountants and internal finance teams.- Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, IFRS adjustments,
tax calculations and intercompany reconciliations.- Review and analyse accounting information prepared by external accounting providers.- Perform reconciliations between property and corporate financial reporting.- Prepare financial analyses and management reporting to support decision-making.- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes.- Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deliverables for clients.- Participate in audits, due diligence exercises, disposals and other ad-hoc projects.- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.What You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.- 3-4 years of experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting or controlling.- Previous experience within a Big Four firm is highly valued.- Experience in real estate, investment funds or property-related environments would be advantageous.- Strong understanding of Spanish GAAP and IFRS.- Knowled
