Experteer Overview
In this role, you will support accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting for Cognizant’s French and Tunisian entities from Budapest. You will help with month-end close, reconciliations, and data for VAT filings, contributing to accurate financial statements across international entities. You’ll collaborate with AP, shared service, and operational finance teams to improve processes and support audits. This position offers exposure to international accounting within a integral organization and a chance to impact compliance and reporting quality.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for French and Tunisian entities
• Prepare journal entries, prepayments, payroll entries, and accrual schedules
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain documentation
• Assist with variance analysis across Pu0026L and balance sheet
• Support French statutory accounting requirements and local compliance




• Prepare data for French VAT filings and ensure FEC readiness
• Maintain accounting records and liaise with Accounts Payable and shared services
• Assist with external audits, tax reviews, and statutory reporting
• Contribute to process improvements and ad hoc finance projects

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 3-5 years accounting experience in a multinational or shared services environment
• Fluent in French
• Experience supporting French legal entities
• Knowledge of French GAAP/PCG
• VAT processes and financial close activities
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Fluent English communication (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
