English Teacher (Native-level)

January to June 2027 Fijo discontinuo contract 28 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 1,400-1,500 net per month

Are you a qualified, experienced English teacher already living in the Murcia area? We're looking for someone to join our friendly team for the second half of the academic year, teaching small classes of motivated students from age 4 to adult.

About us

We are a well-established private English academy in the region of Murcia, run by a small team of friendly, professional and dedicated teachers. We care about quality teaching, and we support each other: new teachers receive in-house training and take part in peer observations from day one.
Our students range from young learners to adults, and many come to us to prepare for official exams from B1 to C2. We also hold social events for students, their families and staff, so you'll feel part of a community, not just a timetable.

Start date December 2026 (induction and handover before the contract begins)

Monday to Thursday, including teaching and preparation time
Timetable Split shift: mornings and afternoons

Essential requirements

Please only apply if you meet all four of the following. Applications that don't will not be considered. * Native-level English speaker, able to teach up to C2 level.

- Right to work in Spain: EU citizenship or a valid work permit already in place. We are unable to sponsor visas.
- CELTA or TEFL qualification (minimum).
- Already living within 30 minutes of Alcantarilla, Murcia. The timetable is split between mornings and afternoons, so living locally is essential. We cannot consider candidates planning to relocate.

What will make you stand out

Experience teaching a range of age groups in a monolingual setting, especially young learners
Experience preparing students for official exams from B1 upwards
Confidence using computers and digital whiteboards in class
