We are looking for aGlobal Transport Explosives Risk Management (TERM) responsibleto lead the worldwide implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of ourTERMprogram.
This role will be responsible for ensuring that all transportation providers supporting MAXAM operations comply with our global safety, security, quality, and regulatory standards.
The position serves as the organization's general reference point for transport compliance and plays a critical role in reducing transportation risks associated with explosives, ammonium nitrate, and other hazardous You'll DoProgram Governance & Leadership
Lead the global deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of the TERM program.
Develop and maintain transport compliance policies, standards, procedures, and implementation guidelines.
Ensure consistent application of transport compliance requirements across all regions and business units.
Promote a strong culture of transportation safety, security, and regulatory compliance throughout the the end-to-end qualification, approval, and onboarding process for transportation providers worldwide.
Assess supplier compliance against TERM requirements and corporate standards.
Monitor licenses, permits, certifications, insurance coverage, driver qualifications, and regulatory supplier compliance records and recommend approvals, suspensions, or disqualifications based on performance and risk assessments.
Develop and execute the annual transport supplier audit program.
Conduct on-site and remote audits, assessments, and compliance reviews.
Identify risks, non-conformities, and improvement opportunities.
Lead corrective and preventive action programs and verify implementation effectiveness.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen transport compliance and risk management.
Lead or support investigations related to transport incidents, accidents, security breaches, and compliance root-cause analyses and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Monitor transport risk indicators and recommend mitigation and share lessons learned to improve organizational performance.
Training & Capability Development
Design and deliver TERM training, awareness, and competency programs.
Support internal teams and transport providers in developing transport compliance capabilities.
Promote best practices in hazardous materials transportation, security, and risk management.
Systems, Data & Reporting
Act as business owner for transport compliance systems and digital and manage compliance dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools.
Analyze trends and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
Prepare regular management reports and strategic We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum5 years of experiencein transportation, logistics, compliance, safety, auditing, supplier management, or risk management.
Proven experience conducting compliance audits, supplier assessments, and risk success driving corrective action plans and continuous improvement analytical skills with experience in compliance reporting, KPIs, and data analysis.
Experience working with multicultural and cross-functional teams in international environments.
