Overview
In this role you contribute to the development and validation of hybrid powertrain systems within AVL Iberica's calibration team. You will work across validation, debugging, data management and engine/vehicle calibration to ensure high-quality powertrain performance. The position offers exposure to gasoline hybrid platforms and high-voltage components, with opportunities to lead calibration activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, validated calibrations that support product readiness and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role at the intersection of engineering and software-driven calibration.
Responsabilidades
- System Validation: execute validation plans to verify behavior under failure conditions
- Powertrain Debug: support production, end-of-line, dealerships and calibration teams
- Calibration Data Management: assembly, validation and industrialization of calibrations
- Engine & Vehicle Calibration:
plan and perform tests on engines and vehicles focusing on base calibration, emissions, diagnostics and driveability
- Calibration Leadership: coordinate activities with junior and senior calibration engineers
Requisitos principales
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering (Master's desirable)
- Understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics
- Experience with ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto, AVL Creta, Vector CANalyzer, DDT2000, Matlab/Simulink
- English and Spanish required; French is a plus
- Driving Licence B
- Minimum 1 year of calibration experience
- Experience in hybrid systems preferred
