Contrato | Mar Recruitment & Consulting | Spain Job Information Work Experience 4-5 años City Barcelona State/Province Barcelona (Barcelona) 08006 Job Description Engineering Oil & Gas Company is looking for a JLT/VLS Control Room Operator for offshore project c urrently Location: Worldwide Project: Offshore Fleet Job Title: JLT/VLS Control Room Operator Location: Worldwide Job Description: Under the direction of the 1st Assistant and the Offshore Construction Manager, operate the J-Lay tower and/or the VLS from the control room (or on local consolles where applicable), including operation of all associated equipment, to ensure a safe handling of the product being installed Within own remit, ensure that the 1st Assistant is kept fully informed of construction status and potential problems, including reporting of any abnormal conditions or lay parameters Within own remit, report malfunctions and alarms to the mechanical and/or electrical team for verification and intervention as applicable Ensure the compliance with the standard determinated by Saipem QHSE Policy and safety procedures, in order to perform the activity in a safe manner Report near misses and incidents to the 1st Assistant Participate to Tool Box Talks, JSA and Risk Assessments as required Within own remit,



ensure that the Permit-to-work system is correctly adhered to and respected Ensure that an adequate hand-over is carried out at the end and beginning of each shift Ensure that a detailed log is kept of the activities carried out from the JLT / VLS control room Assist the Field engineer in the monitoring of JLT and VLS activities as required Report to the 1st Assistant Requirements Previous experience operating IHC Vertical Lay System Previous experience working as: J-lay Tower Operator/ MLS Operator (Multi-lay System Operator)/ Vertical Lay System Operator/ Control Room Operator Position: JLT / VLS Control Room Operator Location: Worldwide Vessel: Offshore fleet Contract status: Valid until 30.06.2027 (extendable) Depending on availability and project requirements Rotation: 35 days on leave To be confirmed Overtime rate: Applicable Working days/hours: Insurance D&D;: Provided by Company Life Insurance: Provided by Company Medical Insurance: Provided by Company Income Protection: Provided by Company Travel : According to Corporate Standards, Prepaid Economy class ticket at beginning, end of CNT and for each work leave rotation cycle. expenses: On Company's account - Any questions related to the refund of expenses shall be addressed #J-18808-Ljbffr
