About the Role:
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to support children aged 1 to 5 in a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Working closely with teachers, the Early Years Coordinator and parents, you will help promote each child's learning, development and wellbeing, ensuring they feel valued, confident and supported throughout their early educational journey. You will assist in delivering engaging learning activities, support pupils' individual needs, including those with SEND, encourage independence and positive relationships, and contribute to a safe, inclusive and purposeful classroom environment. This varied role also includes supporting educational visits, maintaining strong partnerships with parents, contributing to assessments and progress reviews, and helping children develop the skills, confidence and curiosity needed to thrive.
This is a temporary, full-time position.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years professional who is committed to helping young children thrive. You will hold a degree in Early Years, Education,
Languages or a related subject, with previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar Early Years setting. A native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will be confident building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. You will demonstrate patience, empathy and a nurturing approach, alongside the ability to support children of varying ages, abilities and learning needs.
