Medtronic seeks a Tender Specialist in Madrid to coordinate public and private tenders for Cranial Spinal Technologies across Spain and Portugal. The role manages end-to-end tender processes, from planning through contract administration, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting continuous improvement through data analysis and automation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end tender processes including planning, documentation preparation, submission, and contract administration across Spain and Portugal
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, and business leaders to evaluate customer requirements and develop tender responses
- Monitor tender opportunities, contract renewals, and submission deadlines while communicating risks to stakeholders
- Maintain tender intelligence by tracking competitor participation, pricing references,



specifications and market trends
- Develop process improvements through reusable templates, automation tools, and data analysis to support future tender decisions

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience managing tenders, contracts, sales operations, or complex administrative workflows
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or data analysis proficiency
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and document management expertise
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and fixed submission deadlines
