The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking to recruit for its Projects Directorate (PJ), Mobility Department (MOBILITY), Mobile Assets and Deployment Division (MADE), at its headquarters in Luxembourg, an Associate Sector Specialist - Innovative Transport Technologies Deployment*.

This is a full-time position at grade 4. The term of this contract will be 3 years.

Purpose

Join the EIB's Projects Directorate / Mobility Department and contribute to its analytical capacity in innovative transport technologies including digitalisation, automation and innovative logistics as well as clean technologies and decarbonisation. Support the teams in particular in relation to shipping operations,



particularly involving emerging technologies and evolving business models in the maritime sector as well as cybersecurity, economic security and supply chain risk considerations. Your work will support the appraisal and monitoring of technically complex and evolving projects in line with the Bank's standards and procedures.

Accountabilities

The Following Activities Will Be Carried Out With The Backing And Under The Supervision Of Senior Experts, And Mainly In Support Of Their Work
- Contribute to project appraisal and monitoring in a support capacity, including market and sector research, data analysis, benchmarking of technologies and business models, and preparation of internal documentation.
- Support senior colleagues in assessing project rationale, viability and alignment with policy objectives, including transport innovation and decarbonisation. In shipping, tasks may include reviewing fleet developments, emerging fuel and propulsion technologies,
