Our client is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician with specialized experience to join their team servicing clients in and around Queenstown, Eastern Cape . This role is essential for the installation, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated equipment critical to our clients' operations. You will be the face of our client on-site, ensuring customer satisfaction through expert technical service and timely issue resolution. The position requires a hands-on approach, strong diagnostic capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission specialized equipment at client locations.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and diagnostic checks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Provide clear and concise technical reports documenting all service activities.
- Educate clients on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and basic troubleshooting.




- Respond efficiently to service calls and emergency repair requests to minimize client downtime.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role, with a focus on specialized equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Effective communication and customer service abilities.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively within the region.
