POSITION SUMMARY:

The Courtesy Clerk’s role is to assist and support the Operations Department -- by performing a wide number of important duties for the store. Maintaining carts clean and in the proper location. Assisting customers with questions or concerns during a normal shift. Aiding sales associates, stock workers, and other store employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide quality customer service.
- Ensure carts are available and in working conditions.
- Assist customers with carryout.
- Clean front areas.




- Clean any spills throughout the store.
- Assist with go-backs and support cashiers as needed.
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
- Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The work environment is that typical of an office and retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
