VHIR offers a vacant position for a Healthcare & Research Lawyer to develop tasks within the Legal Unit. The unit's main objectives are to ensure legal and regulatory compliance in institutional activities, particularly in biomedical research, and to provide legal advice and support to VHIR researchers, services, and units.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Participate in the drafting, review, negotiation, and management of contracts and amendments handled by the Legal Unit.
- Provide legal advice and support to VHIR’s scientific community and organisational units on matters related to biomedical research and healthcare.
- Support the Legal Unit in ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Law Degree.
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (professional proficiency).
Desirable:
- Master's Degree.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 1 years’ experience working in a research environment.
- Experience in contract review, drafting, or legal analysis.
- Good analytical, organisational,
and communication skills.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working in a legal department within a research institution, hospital, university, or healthcare organisation.
- Knowledge of research-related agreements and contracts, including collaboration, confidentiality, intellectual property, or other agreements commonly used in biomedical research.
Labour conditions:
- Working hours : Full-time (37,5 hours per week).
- Starting date : As soon as possible.
- Gross annual salary : Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
