For our office in Barcelona, Spain now we are looking for an Accounting Specialist to perform daily financial transactions, general ledger reconciliations and credit control and invoicing. The adecuado candidate will ensure full alignment between ERP systems and local statutory accounting standards, maintain timely receivables/payables cycles and contribute to seamless month-end and year-end closing processes

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Reconciliations: Record and reconcile daily financial entries in SAP Business One, perform bank reconciliations, process monthly payroll journals, and maintain audit trails.
• Accounts Receivable & Credit Control:



Monitor aging reports and customer balances, drive proactive collections and handle billing disputes.
• Accounts Payable & Vendor Management: Verify vendor invoices, investigate discrepancies, prepare weekly payment schedules and cash flow forecasts, and oversee vendor onboarding compliance.
• Intercompany & Group Reporting Support: Assist with monthly intercompany reconciliations and help prepare regular management reports (aging analyses, KPIs, etc.) in line with the Group closing calendar.
• Financial Closing & Compliance Support: Assist the Accounting Manager in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting and credit control, preferably within a shipping/freight forw
