? We’re hiring Predoctoral Research Assistant opportunity at the Digital Genomics Group (CNIO)

? We are looking for a highly motivated PhD student to join EXPOGEN-AI, a research project led by Dr. Karen Gonçalves within the Digital Genomics Group at CNIO - Spanish National Cancer Research Centre , headed by Dr. Marcos Díaz-Gay.

? What you will do:

* Integrate and analyze environmental, epidemiological, clinical, and genomic data from cancer cohorts.
* Develop and apply computational and advanced statistical methods to investigate the relationship between environmental exposures and cancer.
* Analyze somatic genomic alterations and mutational signatures associated with environmental and lifestyle factors.
* Apply machine learning and AI approaches to multimodal data integration.
* Collaborate with national and international research partners.
* Present research findings at scientific meetings and conferences and contribute to peer-reviewed publications.
* Be an active member of a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive research environment.

? Who are we looking for?





*Candidates with an M.S. in epidemiology, data science, bioinformatics, computational biology, biomedicine, computer science, or related fields, with experience in biomedical data analysis, statistical methods, and programming (R and/or Python).

*Experience in cancer genomics, environmental epidemiology, machine learning, or multimodal data integration is particularly welcome.
