? We’re hiring: Area Sales Manager – Home Care | Southern Europe
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: CHEMICAL SCIENCES + B2B + English & Italian

A leading multinational company in the chemical industry is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive the growth of its Home Care business across Southern Europe, covering Spain, Portugal, France and Italy.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial development of the territory, combining strategic sales planning, business development and strong customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver short- and medium-term sales plans and budgets.
• Drive sales growth and gross margin across the assigned markets.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert leads, sample requests and prospects into sales.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular face-to-face visits.
• Coordinate customer development projects and marketing initiatives.
• Manage territory priorities, forecasts, product requirements and customer performance.
• Monitor market trends,



competitors, opportunities and potential business risks.
• Present and recommend products to customers, providing a consultative and technically informed approach.
• Provide guidance, training and support to agents and distributors when required.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Production and Distribution teams to resolve complex commercial matters and ensure excellent customer service.

What we’re looking for
• Strong B2B sales experience, ideally within the chemical, Home Care or related industries.
• Solid commercial experience and market knowledge.
• Ability to confidently discuss technical concepts with customers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, planning, organization and time-management skills.
• Strong commercial mindset with initiative, adaptability, autonomy and decision-making ability.
• High level of Spanish, English and Italian, both written and spoke
