At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city’s newest luxury landmarks, we are looking for motivated, detail‑oriented, and proactive students to join our Events Internship Program. If you are passionate about hospitality, event planning, and creating memorable experiences, this internship gives you the opportunity to learn the full cycle of event coordination within a luxury hotel environment.

The Events Trainee plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Events department, assisting in client communication, preparing event documentation, coordinating site inspections, and supporting event execution.

What You’ll Do

- Assist the Events team in managing client enquiries, understanding event needs, and preparing proposals and event confirmations
- Support in the creation and distribution of BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and internal communication for event execution
- Participate in client site inspections, helping with preparation, coordination, and hosting
- Assist in the planning and execution of corporate, social, and MICE events, ensuring smooth communication between departments
- Collaborate with Banqueting, Sales, F&B;, Rooms, and other departments to ensure event requirements are met
