As a Search Relevance Configuration Engineer, you will oversee and optimize relevance settings in our self-developed Solr-based e-commerce search. You’ll translate business requirements from multiple countries into precise search configurations and ETL rules, collaborating with POs, data analysts, and engineers. You’ll work with data scientists and product managers to refine relevance models, filters, and mappings to improve search outcomes. Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Oversee all search relevance configurations and parameter settings in the Solr-based e-commerce search engine and ETL rule processes
• Coordinate with POs, Data Analysts, and Search Managers across countries to translate business requirements into code-level search configurations
• Collaborate with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to improve relevance models, filters, mappings, and product data
• Create and maintain technical and feature-related documentation and transfer knowledge to operational units in different countries




• Participate in discovery meetings and architectural discussions to shape search architecture and deployment

Responsabilidades
• Interest in search algorithms and ETL processes for structured data and relevance optimization (precision, recall, nDCG)
• Willingness to learn Solr and its workings
• Strong technical understanding with ability to quickly grasp complex subjects
• Educational background in informatics, computer science, statistics, or related field is a plus (not mandatory)
• Understanding of Python u0026 Java/Kotlin; DevOps and Kubernetes knowledge are a plus
• Experience with Apache Solr or Elasticsearch and familiarity with field schemas, boosts, filters, and Lucene queries is a plus
• Experience with e-commerce search solutions is a plus
• Reliable, motivated, good communication skills, team spirit, and innovative mindset
• First exposure to AI coding assistants is a plus
