About usWe build the measurement layer for agricultural sustainability: carbon footprints for the livestock industry using our own certified models, biodiversity assessment from remote sensing, and emissions reduction planning. Our customers are agri-food processors and cooperatives measuring and reducing the environmental impact of thousands of farms. We're a small, science-led team past MVP, with paying customers in production and an engineering team of five.

The roleWe're looking for a senior engineer who ships, and who has been through a scaling phase before. You've seen what breaks as a product and team grow, and you know what's worth getting right early.

This is a hands‑on individual contributor role. Most of your time goes into building and shipping across our platform. Alongside that, you'll bring your experience to how we work: code review, our deployment pipeline, and architecture decisions. Most of our engineers are early in their careers, so the way you build and review will be a big part of how they learn.

Build and ship features and improvements across our APIs, data processing and model services

Contribute to our code review standards, and help raise quality as AI‑assisted development increases our output

Help make our deployment pipeline faster and safer

Bring your experience to architecture discussions as we scale





Help expand automated testing and monitoring

What we're looking for

5 to 8 years building and shipping production software

You've worked at a company through a period of real growth, in customers, team or both. You saw which practices held up, which broke, and what you'd do differently

Solid backend experience in a modern ecosystem (TypeScript/Node, Python, Java, Go or similar), REST APIs and relational databases

Practical experience with CI/CD, automated testing and running software in the cloud

You've regularly reviewed other engineers' code and enjoy helping others improve

Nice to have

Experience with Azure, NestJS or Python data processing

You use AI across your workflow to improve quality and testing, not only to write features faster

Experience with calculation‑heavy systems where the output has to be correct, not just available

You don't need agriculture, carbon footprint or LCA knowledge. That's our domain, and we'll teach you.
