Trainers/Instructors for Developing a Rural Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable trainer/instructor to deliver a comprehensive Developing a Rural Infrastructure training program in Madrid, Spain. The idóneo candidate will have expertise in civil infrastructure planning, sustainable rural development, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to conduct interactive and practical sessions tailored to professionals in engineering, planning, and community development.

This program focuses on the principles, processes, and strategies that support effective, sustainable, and inclusive rural infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliverhigh-quality training sessions covering all stages of rural infrastructuredevelopment, including planning, financing, transport, water, energy, andcommunication systems.

- Developand adapt course materials, presentations, and group activities alignedwith international standards and CPD-accredited frameworks.
- Introduceparticipants to innovative planning and financing models for ruralinfrastructure projects.

- Facilitategroup discussions, case studies, and problem-solving exercises based on real-worldexamples of infrastructure development.
- Guideparticipants in applying sustainability principles and best practices inenergy use,



water management, and community engagement.

- Providepractical insights into stakeholder collaboration, local participation,and community-driven development.
- Evaluateparticipant learning outcomes and ensure that the course objectives areachieved effectively.

- Work closely with the training coordination teamto align content with participants’ backgrounds and project goals.

Requirements

- Provenexperience as a trainer, consultant, or practitioner in civil engineering,infrastructure development, rural planning, or sustainable development.

- Strongunderstanding of infrastructure planning, financing, transport systems, watermanagement, and renewable energy.

- Academicqualifications in Civil Engineering, Urban or Rural Planning, EnvironmentalManagement, or a related field.

- Excellentfacilitation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability toengage technical and non-technical audiences alike.

- Experiencedelivering interactive, case-based, and participant-centered learning programs.

- Based in Madrid,Spain, or available to travel there for the duration of the training.

- Multilingualability (English and Spanish) is preferred.
