Experteer Overview In this role you contribute to power curve testing and system-level power performance simulation within GE Vernova Wind.
You will work with cross-functional teams to validate models and support reviews, leveraging aerodynamic, electrical, and controls inputs.
You’ll apply weather science, IEC standards, and field data to improve simulation accuracy while delivering contractual test plans and final reports.
This position offers autonomy, impact on performance validation, and opportunities to standardize engineering workflows.
Compensaciones / Incentivos• Execute power curve simulations with autonomy and support design reviews and commercial releases; validate models• Incorporate atmospheric science and test data considerations to improve simulation accuracy• Apply IEC standards and GE test requirements; evaluate power curve test methods including site calibration• Lead contractual power performance tests from planning to final reporting within an ongoing test program• Analyze power curve test data; relate results to MPPT, terrain assessment, and risk calculations• Contribute to root cause analyses of field performance anomalies• Understand turbine controls and operability as they relate to turbine operation settings• Maintain and enhance analysis tools with MATLAB and Python• Share lessons learned and drive standardization of engineering workflows
Responsabilidades• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of time
